Paris Attacks (November 2015) On 13 November 2015, Islamic State gunmen and suicide bombers descended on Paris, launching simultaneous attacks in multiple locations, outside the Stade de France, in the 10th and 11th arrondissements, and at the Bataclan concert hall, killing 130 and wounding hundreds. Behind the attacks was an extensive network largely composed of returned foreign fighters and orchestrated by Molenbeek-raised petty criminal turned Islamic State operative Abdelhamid Abaaoud.
